All products offered are subject to availability. Once an order is placed, you will receive a confirmation email containing the details of your order. Since Samvit Sudha specializes in handcrafted products, an order may take 3 to 5 working days for processing and packing before it is shipped. For Products which are “made to order” (manufactured specially for you after receiving your order), it may take up to 10 working days to dispatch.

Shipping is Within India ONLY: Estimated delivery time for standard shipping is 7-10 working days from the day of dispatch.

Shipping Confirmation: A shipping confirmation with your tracking number will be sent to your email address, as provided by you at the time of the order.

Changes / Cancellations: Once an order has been placed on our website, we will be unable to modify or cancel the order. Please ensure that you check your order details before confirming it. We reserve the right to cancel an order due to an error on the website or a stock issue. If your credit/debit card, bank account has been charged prior to a cancellation of the order from our end, we will reverse the charges.

Please refer to our Exchange Policy if you wish to exchange an item after it has been received.

Products Lost, Stolen or Damaged in Transit

Samvit Sudha is not responsible for any delays in delivery of parcels. Such issues should be taken up by the Purchaser with the carrier/transporter.

If, however, the packages are not delivered (being lost, stolen) or damaged in transit, Samvit Sudha undertakes to replace the item with identical item(s) as may be available. This is however subject to the Purchaser –

  • immediately making a complaint of non-delivery or damage of the parcel/item to the carrier/transporter and obtaining a Certificate (hereafter called a “certificate of loss/damage”) to that effect from the carrier/transporter and providing the same in original to Samvit Sudha.

Process for Replacement of Products Lost/Stolen in transit:

If the products/items have been lost or stolen in transit, inform us by email (customersupport@samvitsudha.com) along with the carrier/transporter’s Certificate of loss/damage within 3 days of receiving the certificate.

After receiving your email and inspecting the certificate, we will process your replacement. Please allow seven (7) days from the receipt of your email for the process. (If the item however is not readily available, it may take more time.)

The Exchange Process for products damaged in transit:

If you receive your product damaged in transit, you shall immediately take a photograph of the item damaged and its packaging and inform us by email (customersupport@samvitsudha.com) along with the photographs and the Certificate of loss/damage, within 3 days of your receiving the damaged product from the Carrier/Transporter. The photo of the damaged product is to assist us to evaluate whether the product qualifies for an exchange.

Once the damaged product is deemed exchangeable, you will be issued an Exchange Merchandise Authorization (EMA) number. After receiving an EMA number, send the damaged product in its original packaging to the following address:

Products that are eligible for exchange should be returned within three (3) days from the date of the EMA. Please note that all return shipping charges will be borne by the Purchaser. We strongly recommend that you use a trackable method to send in the damaged products.

After receiving your return package and inspecting the condition of your item, we will process your exchange. Please allow us at least seven (7) days from the receipt of your item for the process. (If the item however is not readily available, it may take more time). The exchange will be for a similar product ONLY.

Please note that our exchange team must receive and approve your exchange request. Samvit Sudha reserves the right to accept or reject an exchange request. To be eligible for an exchange, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused, with tags, and in its original packaging.

Non-delivery due to a mistake by the Purchaser

If a non-delivery occurs due to a mistake by the Purchaser (i.e. wrong or incomplete name or address or recipient not available), any re-delivery of the item shall be made only after we receive the returned goods from the carrier/transporter. Extra transportation costs incurred for re-delivery shall be borne by you and remitted to us before despatch of the product.

Availability of Products

All features, content, specifications, products and prices of products and services displayed on this website are subject to change at any time without notice. Weights, measures and similar descriptions are approximate and are provided for convenience purposes only. Since most of our products are handcrafted, there will be variations in content or look because of the nature of the handmade process and recycled materials used. The colours and attributes you see also depend on the device you see them on and may not match the item exactly.

Freight, Taxes and Duties. GST has been applied to the rates of items to be dispatched within India. Please note that there may be additional freight, taxes and duties payable as applicable, either in advance or to the carrier/transporter at the time of receipt, which shall be borne by you.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction.

THIS POLICY SHALL BE SOLELY GOVERNED BY, AND CONSTRUED IN ACCORDANCE WITH, THE LAWS OF INDIA.

Any dispute arising under or in relation to this Policy shall be resolved under the sole and exclusive jurisdiction of a competent court located in Bengaluru, and each of the parties hereby submits irrevocably to the jurisdiction of such courts. Each party agrees that a final judgment in any action or proceeding shall be conclusive and shall be enforced in the manner provided by applicable law.
